The Wilson Staff 50 Elite packs a well rounded punch and leaves money for the 19th hole.
The 50 in Wilson Staff 50 Elite stands for compression, not the age of the golfer, although anyone over 50 would love this ball.

The Wilson Staff 50 Elite is a serious performer. Wilson is known to make a somewhat cheaper product but after playing with this ball and getting to know it’s characteristics this is by no means a low end ball.
The 50 in “50 elite” is referring to the compression. It is built for swing speeds under 90mph and will definitely launch off the club head and provide plenty of distance and carry. The performance doesn’t stop there as the Wilson Staff 50 Elite has a nice amount of spin to keep the ball on the green and surprisingly keeps the ball straight in the air. It’s a wonderful combo.
Like most of the “low compression” balls on the market, it has a somewhat rubbery soft sound and feel but when your swing speed is not so fast, compression is the name of the game. It’s a no brainer to grab a box of these and give them a shot, you might have found your new ball of choice and have plenty of money left over for libations after the round.
